AdBlue / SCR Deactivation
Error Removal
We eliminate AdBlue errors, limp mode, and power limitations.
We perform precise computer diagnostics and offer a reliable solution: correct software-based AdBlue / SCR deactivation with complete removal of fault codes, start counters, and system limitations.
The result is stable engine operation, no warning messages, normal vehicle performance, and no more expenses for AdBlue fluid or costly repairs.
AdBlue / SCR: diagnostics, repair, and correct system deactivation
AdBlue (SCR) is a NOx emission reduction system used in modern diesel vehicles. It operates by injecting AdBlue fluid into the exhaust system and, in the event of any malfunction, quickly turns into a real “headache”: fault codes appear, power limitations are applied, limp mode is activated, and engine start may even be blocked.
We do not offer to “remove everything blindly”. First, we carry out accurate diagnostics and determine what is more cost-effective for you: repairing a specific component or professional software-based AdBlue / SCR deactivation without recurring errors or unpleasant surprises.

Most common AdBlue issues we see
- AdBlue / SCR / NOx fault messages on the dashboard
- Power limitation, limp mode, “the car won’t accelerate”
- Countdown of remaining kilometres before engine start lock
- Constant AdBlue refills while the error remains
- Crystallisation and clogging of the дозer/injector, ammonia smell
Why the AdBlue system fails
The system is highly sensitive to fluid quality and operating conditions. Even a single “incorrect” refill can accelerate wear and lead to costly repairs.
- Poor-quality AdBlue fluid (impurities, non-compliance with standards) → crystallisation and blockages
- Homemade mixtures → deposits in the dosing system and damage to SCR components
- NOx sensors (DNox 1 / DNox 2) → malfunctions, fault codes, limp mode
- Clogged doser/injector → incorrect injection and SCR errors
AdBlue diagnostics — what we check
- Reading fault codes and live parameters of the AdBlue / SCR system
- Checking fluid level, density, and quality
- Testing DNox 1 & DNox 2 sensors and data accuracy
- Inspection of the pump, dosing module, injector, and filters
- System condition assessment and repair cost-effectiveness evaluation
Repair or deactivation — which makes more sense
If the issue can be resolved by replacing a single component, we repair it. However, AdBlue repairs often turn into a chain reaction: one part is replaced, then another fails shortly after. As a result, costs become unpredictable.
Approximate repair costs (market average):
AdBlue control unit — €600–2500
AdBlue pump — €370–4000
Dosing unit / module — €370–600
Important: replacing one component does not guarantee the next one won’t fail tomorrow.
Pros and cons of software-based AdBlue / SCR deactivation
Advantages
- Complete removal of errors, limits, and engine start lock counters
- Stable engine operation without limp mode
- Savings on repairs and ongoing AdBlue fluid purchases
- A long-term solution when repair is not economically viable
Important considerations
- The procedure must be done correctly — otherwise recurring errors and limitations may occur
- Professional software calibration is required for the specific ECU and vehicle configuration
Our solution
We carry out diagnostics, then recommend the best option: system repair/restoration or correct software-based AdBlue / SCR deactivation. We work carefully — without “quick fixes”, without side effects, and with result verification after completion.
